Samsung has introduced its latest stylus powered tablet named Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. The new Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has an 8-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 delivering a pixel density of 189ppi. It has the same resolution as Samsung Galaxy Note 10.0 but this time users will obviously benefit from a more eye pleasing pixel density. Moreover, its pixel density is slightly higher than iPad Mini’s 7.9 inch which is 163ppi display. Beneath that, there lies a Exynos 4 Quad processor whose performance is simply impressive. It’s a 32nm processor and according to the company this will deliver a 26 percent boost in performance and more than 50 increase in battery life. With 2 GB of ram means you will never run out of memory and closing or opening applications or browsing internet is not an issue. Simply, it will deliver a super smooth experience. The processor is clocked at 1.6 GHz which is really good. A 5 Mega pixel camera is on the back of the device, and it offers all the functionalities we expect from a Samsung’s device. On the front, there is a 1.3 mega-pixel camera which is really good for video calling.

Moreover, the device runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s touch wizard capabilities. Like the rest of Note line, it also comes with a stylus pen which is optimized for an array of baked in apps. The device comes with storage of 16 GB and 32 GB. One main thing to note about Galaxy Note 8.0 is that in any matter you hold the device there is no element of wrist strain at 338 grams it’s incredibly light and slim and you can put it easily into any bag. It also comes with an optional 3G functionality, a memory card slot and a sim slot. Yes, it has a sim slot which means the new Galaxy Note 8.0 can make and receive phone calls. The new 8-inch tablet is also a phone. One thing I forgot to mention, it has Bluetooth 4.0 technology and is quite good for sending images and music on other devices. In addition to all other things, it has a 4600mAH battery. Samsung’s new tab also includes support for smart stay, multi window, Air View functionality and a lot more. It also includes a reading mode, which adjusts the display for an easier on the eyes prolonged reading experience.
